This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Maybe it's just my ignorance but while looking for bases to do my artwork upon I found one that, in their rules it clearly states, it may Not be edited on Paint Tool Sai. This being my preferred method of basing I sighed and was a wee bit depressed seeing as the base was adorable and I would've loved to see it adorned with the beautiful images of one of my characters.
Sure I could have just as easily opened paint or a pixel tool and simply pixel dolled the thing and not sat here and complained but the idea got be thinking.
I know I don't pixel doll but does what I do get me LESS respect among the pixel artists that do happen to follow me?
I guess to me the concept is the same the lines and shading style just look a little more "clean" and less pixelated on PTS. I just feel like my actual pixel art isn't as good as my (what I call) "tooled" art and yet the pixels get more credit.
This isn't going to be something that blows up I'm just the curious type and found this to be a little puzzling.
